VIP Days

This is the third year I’ve hosted VIP Days and workshops at my home.

We’ve been working on our lawn (okay, my husband has) for the last few years and he sees my vision. Hopefully it’ll be ready by next summer. I see a lot of VIP events in our dreamy backyard, but it’s going to take some serious grind and dough.

OFFICE UPDATES: we are sooooo close!!! I’m still searching for a few things: very cozy and comfy area rug underneath the couch, painting the bookshelves white and donating books. I have a book problem. I LOVE THEM. Right now I’m looking at Alejando Junger’s Clean Gut, Loving What Is by Byron Katie, Veganist by Kathy Freston, Passionate Nutrition, Taming Your Outer Child, dozens of holistic health guides and yoga books from teacher training and the list goes on. I’m looking for a really cute bench or something to put against the wall to add some serious vibes to this room. Maybe another lamp and putting the TV in our garage gym.

I’m so excited and happy to take you on the adventure.

Back to VIP DAYS! What are they?

They are deeply intensive, one day events. I called them Mini Retreats two years ago, but VIP Days sounds better now, because I’ve stepped into my power and I am able to hold that superior space for each woman who walks in the door.

Women are in tears.

Women are broken open and revealing secrets they didn’t even know existed in their body.

Women are happily laughing as they release tension!

Women feel confident in their choices.

Women look inward instead of listening to everyone else’s two cents.

Women leave feeling lighter and healthier.

They are an investment and I only offer a limited amount every month. To Apply for your VIP Day go here.

Take a look behind the scenes.

My New Day Northwest Starring Debut!

After a very slow start to the year (recovering from a c-section) the last few months have zoomed like a train without any stops!!!

I am SOOOO grateful for Joseph, the producer from New Day Northwest on King 5. He sent me an email and 5 days later I was showing Margaret, the host of New Day Northwest, how to make chocolate mint protein balls! WHAT A RIDE!

Here’s your backstage pass to everything I did beforehand to get ready for my 8 minutes of fame. 😉

First of all – I had to get a new e-book cover created because I wanted it to be much prettier than my previous design…there she is below!

Once that was finished, I sent the recipe guide with this cover over to Office Depot where they created a gorgeous looking spiral notebook like the one you see pictured above. All of my detoxes for 2018 will include spiral notebook print outs and the Winter Beauty Detox Retreat will include the winter detox in the VIP swag bags, (they are so sick).

Then Bode man and me went shopping for cute dishes I could use on set but Homegoods didn’t have much of a selection and I was running out of time so I got the holiday looking dishes. When I arrived at the studio and showed the producer my dishes she said, “Oh! I didn’t know you were doing a holiday segment.” To which I replied, “I’m not….” HAHAHHA

Before I left for Seattle, I headed to Jax Salon + Spa to get my hair washed and styled, because there was no time to do it myself and I wanted to look fancy! So Stephenie, the master stylist, worked her magic and I left feeling like a beauty! THANKS STEPHENIE!

After one of the worst nights of “sleep” aka Bode woke up every hour and a half because he had a stuffy nose, I finally dragged myself out of bed at 7am and said to myself, “TODAY IS THE DAY YOU WERE MEANT TO SHINE!!!!!!”

I said goodbye to my sweet Bode man, who hung out with my folks and jammed out to hip hop on my way to the studio. Well….jammed out 50% of the time and had a fake conversation to myself in a British accent the other 50%.

While I was unloading my bags on bags on bags, my SUPER HERO HUSBAND who just got off of a 48 hour shift surprised me in the parking garage!!!!!!! He took over bag duty and allowed me to carry the light ones and profess my undying love for his help and surprise!

We had some fun in the studio before air time and then it was time…

WATCH VIDEO HERE (recipe too)

This experience has inspired me to do more, think bigger and reach out to more local news stations and radio programs. Doing this segment built my confidence because I actually knew what I was talking about. Know what I mean? I was talking about holistic health, my passion and my career.

Sisterhood Love,

J Muenz

So I’m going on TV in two days

I got an email from a producer a few days ago asking if I was available to do a cooking demo for a local news channel in Seattle…

You know those moments when you feel like momentum is picking up and you’re on fire? My client list is steadily picking back up (there were a few months I was a Mama and couldn’t do it all) but I AM BACK and things are moving fast.

The Fall Detox is going great – still helping clients detox to build their immunity so they don’t catch the winter cold. Then last Saturday I hosted a Detox Cooking Workshop and loved every second. There we are below!

Yes, I provide online programs and private coaching via phone, but the in-person ACTUAL HUMAN INTERACTION is my favorite.

That’s why I’m hosting ANOTHER workshop next month.

It’s safe to say my hands are full and I am loving every minute! A little overwhelmed because I run a business, am a new mom and operate around a shift worker’s schedule, but this is how you do it! YOU JUST DO! In late January I thought it wouldn’t be possible. I thought that Bode man would take the company I built from nothing and squash it with his cuteness. I am still 100% obsessed with this beautiful boy we created, but Mama is getting her groove back.

It’s hard. FOR SURE. I sometimes wonder how I’m doing it. How anyone is doing it. How do people work and parent and stay who you are, but not stay who you are and continue to grow in all ways, but super fast. I keep thinking, “I’ll just wait until things slow down…” and I’m sitting here looking at him and he’s almost 10 months!

Life does not slow down.

It speeds up and a baby shows you just how fast time goes!

So, I’m living with no regrets.

I’m doing the show on Wednesday. Check out King 5 New Day Northwest – think it’s airing around 11am.

And there’s this…

I booked a business retreat in December that I’ll be going to ALONE. That’s right. AN ENTIRE HOTEL ROOM TO MYSELF where I can sleep. I don’t even know what I’ll do with all that silence. Probably face time Bode and Alex the whole time…or not. Maybe a bath? WITH LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL? OH MY GOD AM I EXCITED! It’ll be the first time I’m alone for more than a few hours in 10 MONTHS! SAY WHAT.

Then in February, I’m leading the Winter Beauty Detox Retreat in the gorgeous Leavenworth, WA and I booked a legit lodge. WHAT.

So many F bombs to myself, usually in my head, but this moment needs to be out loud.

I BOOKED A LODGE!!!! YAY! GO WOMEN IN BUSINESS EVERYWHERE. And a bunch of brands want to be involved, an amazing yoga instructor is teaching Saturday night and we are going to remember this weekend because we will be changed. I can feel it with every ounce of my being. If  you need a soul shake up – this retreat is for you.

Okay, I’m actually writing this blog to avoid doing what I’m supposed to be doing, which is writing session notes for clients. I needed a little color in my day, a place to get my thoughts out, so if you are reading this – THANK YOU. YOU ARE AMAZING. YOU ARE DOING BIG THINGS.

And remember this quote I heard last week that gave me the chills, “Not starting is the death of dreams.”
